Money4Travel does not charge Travellers for using the Marketplace. Any optional services, such as a buy-back guarantee or loyalty rewards, are offered and charged by the Bureau (where available).

How do I collect my travel money from Carats?

Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an order confirmation on screen and by email. Take your confirmation and valid photo ID to Carats to collect your currency.

How long does it take before my order is ready for collection?

Collection lead times depend on currency availability at the Bureau. Some currencies may be available for same-day collection, while others may take a few days.

Is there a limit to how much travel money I can buy?

You can buy between £250 and £2,500 per day (subject to availability and checks).
Additional limits may apply over a rolling period.

Money4Travel does not charge Travellers for using the Marketplace. Instead, Money4Travel is paid by subscribing Exchangers (registered Bureaux) who list their services on the platform.
When you search for a currency, amount and location, the Marketplace compares local rates and, where available, applies a preferential discount on behalf of the Exchanger to offer competitive local rates. Orders are for in-person collection only at the selected Bureau.
Some Bureaux also offer optional services such as buy-back guarantees and loyalty schemes. Where available, Loyalty Pips can be earned and redeemed with the same Bureau on a future currency purchase (terms apply).
