We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

This clause will not apply insofar as (but only to the extent that) we are unable to exclude or limit text or data mining or web scraping activity by contract under the laws which are applicable to us.

Our site, its content and any services provided in relation to the same are only targeted to, and intended for use by, individuals located in United Kingdom (a Permitted Territory). By continuing to access, view or make use of our site and any related content and services, you hereby warrant and represent to us that you are located in a Permitted Territory.

Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, including a payment gateway, you acknowledge and agree that we have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

We are not responsible for viruses

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not introduce viruses

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with our site or any part of it. Please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. We both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

Buy-Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions

The Buy-Back Guarantee is an optional add-on service which may be made available by an Exchanger for purchase by Travellers during the currency order process on the Money4Travel platform. The Buy-Back Guarantee can be purchased at the point of ordering currency online at https://money4travel.com. It offers a guarantee that a portion of the currency purchased will be bought back at the same exchange rate used for the purchase.

Purchase - terms

The Buy-Back Guarantee will apply for the return of up to 30% of the total amount originally purchased, up to a maximum sterling equivalent value of £300. The fee for the Buy-Back Guarantee is £3.95 per order, irrespective of the number of currencies purchased in the same order.

Using Loyalty Pips to purchase a Buy-Back Guarantee

A Buy-Back Guarantee can also be purchased by redeeming Loyalty Pips. 30 Pips are required to buy a Buy-Back Guarantee.

Utilisation of the Buy-Back Guarantee

The original receipt must be provided when returning the currency and the physical condition of the currency must be such that it is capable of resale. The currency must be returned within 45 days of the transaction date, as shown on the original receipt, and to the same bureau where the Buy-Back Guarantee was initially purchased.

Not all currency denominations are eligible for buy-back; please enquire with the bureau at the time of purchase. The physical condition of the notes will be assessed at the time of return, and acceptance is subject to this assessment.

The cost of the Buy-Back Guarantee is non-refundable. Any currency returned in excess of 30% of the original amount will be exchanged at the Exchanger’s prevailing buy-back rate. Identification may be required to complete the transaction.

Provided it does not relate to a purchased order, this offer may be amended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

Loyalty Pips Terms and Conditions

Overview

The Loyalty Pips scheme, administered by Money4Travel, allows users to accumulate points (referred to as "Pips") through eligible foreign currency transactions on the Money4Travel online marketplace. Pips can be redeemed to receive discounts on future purchases of travel money. Participation in the Loyalty Pips programme is subject to the following terms and conditions, which may be updated from time to time.

Eligibility and Participation

Participation in the Loyalty Pips scheme is open to individuals aged 18 years or older with a valid UK address. Each participant is allowed one Loyalty Pips account. The account and any accumulated Pips are personal to the registered participant and cannot be transferred, bought, or sold.

Only orders placed through participating bureaux de change (referred to as "Exchangers") are eligible for Pips accumulation. Exchangers' participation in the programme is voluntary and subject to change. Pips can only be earned on purchases made from Exchangers that are actively participating in the Loyalty Pips scheme at the time of the transaction.

Earning Loyalty Pips

Pips are awarded based on qualifying purchases of travel money. To earn Pips, the minimum transaction value must be £250. For every £100 spent, 1 Pip is awarded. Pips are credited in increments of £100, meaning that amounts between £100 and £199.99 will result in the awarding of 1 Pip, while transactions between £200 and £299.99 will award 2 Pips, and so on.

Pips can be accumulated up to a maximum of 400 Pips per participant within any 12-month period, except where Money4Travel runs promotional events that may allow users to earn more than the 400 Pips.

Certain transactions and services are excluded from earning Pips. For example, purchases of non-qualifying products, such as buy-back guarantees, are ineligible. Additional products may be excluded at the discretion of Money4Travel, and such exclusions will be clearly communicated.

Redeeming Loyalty Pips for cash

Pips can be redeemed during the purchase of travel money through the Money4Travel marketplace. A minimum of 10 Pips and a maximum of 30 Pips can be redeemed per transaction. The value of the discount is calculated by multiplying the travel money order value by the number of claimed Pips, then dividing by 10,000. For example, for a £900 order and 30 Pips claimed, the discount would be: £900 × 30 Pips / 10,000 = £2.70.

Using Loyalty Pips to purchase a Buy-Back Guarantee

Pips can also be redeemed in order to purchase a Buy-Back Guarantee. 30 Pips will be required to buy a Buy-Back Guarantee and the terms for this can be found.

Pips are only redeemable at the Exchanger that originally awarded them and cannot be transferred or used with other Exchangers. Pips have no cash value and can only be applied as a discount on future travel money purchases.

Account Management

Participants are responsible for ensuring their account details are kept up to date. Money4Travel cannot be held liable for the loss of Pips due to inaccurate or outdated account information. If no Pips are earned or redeemed for a period of 18 consecutive months, the Loyalty Pips account may be closed, and any unused Pips forfeited.

If a travel money order is cancelled, returned, or refunded in full or in part by the Exchanger, any Pips used for the purchase will be added back and any Pips earned from that order will be deducted from the participant's account.

Termination and Modification

Money4Travel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Loyalty Pips scheme at any time and for any reason. In the event of termination, participants will be given reasonable notice to redeem any outstanding Pips before the programme ends.

Money4Travel may, at its discretion, refuse, merge, or close additional accounts held by the same participant. Furthermore, Pips may be withdrawn or cancelled if Money4Travel reasonably believes there has been any abuse, misuse, or violation of the programme's terms and conditions.

General Conditions

Pips are issued and remain the property of Money4Travel. Participation in the Loyalty Pips scheme is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Any changes to these terms and conditions will be communicated by reasonable notice, and continued participation in the scheme will signify acceptance of any such changes.

Money4Travel Traveller Agreement

These Terms and Conditions contain important information and legal facts which will govern our relationship with you so please read these carefully.

1. Introduction

Who are we?

The Site is controlled and operated by Essiell Limited (Essiell), a limited liability company registered in England and Wales with company number 01957652. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, references to "we", "us", "our" or “Site” are to Money4Travel, which is a trading name of Essiell Limited.

Definitions

In these terms and conditions:

“Marketplace” means the marketplace provided by Money4Travel on the Site, to enable you to find Travel Money bureaux, research and compare Travel Money exchange rates and other third-party services and to order Foreign Currency

“Exchanger’s Service" means any third-party service that we display on our Site, including any quotation provided in respect of such service and the provision of Travel Money to you by that Exchanger.

“Exchangers” means any third-party physical bureaux de change that sell foreign currency through the Site or any other third party with whom you engage through this Site.

“Nuapay” means the third party payment initiation service provider.

"Site" means the online platform operated by or on behalf of Money4Travel and any mobile applications or other similar devices, channels, or applications operated by or on behalf of Money4Travel; and

“Travel Money” means the physical foreign currency supplied to you by the bureau.

“Travellers”, "you" and "your" means any person who accesses and uses the Site.

2. Our Site

Our service

We provide an independent online service which is designed to enable you to connect with an Exchanger through the Marketplace. The Marketplace is free for you to use. We receive a fee and/or commission from an Exchanger when you use the Marketplace to purchase an Exchanger’s Services.

The Marketplace provides an online interface which enables you to choose currency online, obtain current market prices of currency and a guaranteed price, select which Exchanger to collect the currency from, and place the order by making payment in advance.

Payments

You agree to pay any fees and/or other charges incurred by you in accordance with any payment provisions set out on the Site.

In general, payment for an Exchanger’s Service will be made by Instant Bank Payment through the Nuapay application. Once you place your order you will be sent a request for money From Nuapay who will provide you with a link to enable you to make a contactless, instant bank payment.

Travellers’ Benefits

Any person using the Site can benefit from the following:
  • Best Rates: Access to competitive rates for foreign currency through the Marketplace.
  • Buy-Back Guarantee: Purchase a fixed rate option to sell back surplus currency to the bureau.
  • Loyalty Scheme: Option to join the scheme and benefit from cash savings on currency purchases.

3. Loyalty Scheme

The Loyalty Pips scheme (Loyalty Scheme) is offered by Exchangers via the Money4Travel online marketplace.

If you sign up as a member of Money4Travel’s marketplace (Member), the Scheme enables you to collect Loyalty Pips and claim these against your future purchases of travel money from Exchangers who have elected to participate in the Loyalty Scheme.

All orders placed through those participating Exchangers will result in an issue of Loyalty Pips to Members. Offering Loyalty Pips is at the discretion of the Exchanger; an orange icon shown against the Exchanger’s name in the ranking table confirms that they offer Loyalty Pips.

You can earn an unlimited number of Loyalty Pips from an Exchanger. The Loyalty Pips are personal to you and specific to the awarding Exchanger. You can claim a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 Loyalty Pips during a single purchase of travel money. Loyalty Pips awarded by one Exchanger cannot be claimed from another Exchanger. Loyalty Pips are valid as long as the Exchanger continues to trade on the Money4Travel marketplace. The Pips can be redeemed for cash discounts or to purchase a buy-back guarantee.

Purchase and Collection

When you place a click and collect order for Travel Money using our Site you will need to provide your personal details, including your first and last name, date of birth, photo ID number, home address, and email address. Once your order is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to you, which you must present along with your photo ID at the time of collection.

The confirmation email will include details of your order, the Exchanger’s address and contact details. The confirmation will also show the date when the currency is available for collection.

We understand that plans can change. Here’s how you can manage your order if you're unable to collect as scheduled:

Reschedule Collection: Simply call the Exchanger to inform them of your delay, and agree a new time.

Member Profile

You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over to be eligible to become a Member. You will need an email address and password to access your membership page. You will choose your own password, which must be used with your email address when logging on to the Site. You must not, and it is your responsibility to ensure that you do not, transfer or give your password to anyone else. You agree that any person to whom your password is disclosed is authorised to act as your agent for the purpose of transacting for any services via this Site, and you will be responsible for any and all activity conducted using your password. You shall take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account via any computer or other device that you use to access your account. If you become aware that the password is or may have been compromised, you will inform us as soon as practicable. We can and will change the password if there is a risk that the password has been compromised or is used in violation of the Terms.

We have the right to disable any account or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.

When you create a profile to become a Member you may be given the opportunity to receive marketing emails from us, our group companies or Exchangers, and by creating the profile you consent to this. You can manage your email subscription preferences via our Site or unsubscribe from emails at any time. From time to time, we may need to send you service emails relating to your accounts, and we reserve the right to do so. If you have not opted out of receiving our general marketing, we may contact you via email, in-App messaging and/or push notification, to let you know when you could save money on Travel Money rates. To turn off email communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe links included at the bottom of the emails.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will be liable to us for any damage, loss, claim, demand, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) that we may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with your conduct on the Site and/or your breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Your personal information

To use our service and compare offers from different Exchangers, you will need to answer some questions on our website. These questions help us and the Exchangers to give you accurate information and quotations based on your needs. The price and details of the Exchangers’ Services will depend on the answers you provide. By filling in your information, you agree that we can share it with the Exchangers you are interested in. Before choosing a service, make sure all the information provided to the Exchangers is correct and complete. It is your responsibility to fix any mistakes before going ahead with an Exchanger’s Service. If you provide someone else’s information, make sure you have their permission and make sure the information you provide is safe and free from viruses, to protect our website.

Permitted use

The Site is for your personal, non-commercial use only and you agree that by using the Site that you accept our Travellers’ Acceptable Use Policy and agree to comply with it. The Site may only be accessed and used by private individuals. Access to and use of the Site other than for your personal, non-commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

You must be aged 18 years or over to create an account on the Site, please see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we use your personal information.

Intellectual Property

The trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights in the Site and in the information, content, material, or data that we display on the Site belong to us or our licensors, and all such rights are reserved. You must not use such information or copyright material unless you have written permission from us to do so.

You may temporarily print, copy, download or store extracts of information, content, material, or data displayed on the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not otherwise breach these Terms and Conditions.

All rights in Money4Travel are owned by or licensed to us.

Exchangers’ Services

The Exchangers’ Services displayed on our Site are not provided by us but by third parties over whom we do not have control.

You should always satisfy yourself that the Exchanger’s Service that is of interest to you meets your needs. It is your responsibility to check this. If you are in any doubt regarding any Exchanger’s Service referred to on the Sites, we suggest that you seek independent professional advice before you proceed.

Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our Site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our Site is accurate, complete or up to date.

The physical Travel Money will be supplied by the Exchanger in its own bureau as part of that Exchanger’s Service. You acknowledge and agree that we have no control over the suitability or quality of those Exchanger’s Services.

Third-party websites and services

Any links to third-party websites on our Site or in our emails are provided for your interest and convenience only. These websites are owned and operated by third parties over whom we do not have control. We do not endorse, recommend or accept responsibility for such third parties, their products or services, their websites, or for any information, opinions, or views given or advice provided by such third parties (whether on their websites or otherwise).

5. Our responsibilities and our liability to you

The information on our Site

We aim to ensure that the material which we provide on the Site is accurate. We also try to correct any errors or omissions as soon as we can after being notified of them. However, we are not able to guarantee that the material on the Site is accurate and free from errors or omissions at all times as such material will in many instances be obtained from third parties over which we do not have control. We reserve the right to add, amend, delete, edit, remove or modify any information, content, material or data displayed on the Site at any time and without notice.

Information on the Site is provided for general information purposes and is provided so that you can select the Exchanger’s Service that you feel is most appropriate to meet your needs.

If you have any further questions about collection you should contact the Exchanger directly on the contact details that they give you on their order confirmation.

Availability of the Site

We aim to provide uninterrupted access to the Site, but we give no warranty on this. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time.

Exclusions of our liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or by fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the paragraph immediately above, we do not accept any responsibility to the fullest extent permissible by applicable laws; we are not liable for any loss or damage you may incur:

  • If any information, content, material, or data which Exchangers, you or we provide on the Site is not correct, complete, and accurate, or if it is misleading, or if you fail to disclose all relevant facts;
  • In the event that any Exchanger’s Service you apply for does not meet your requirements or is not suitable for you;
  • In the event that you suffer any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Exchanger’s Service or this Site.
  • In the event of any failure by Nuapay to process your payment currently.
  • In connection with the accuracy or content of any reviews of products or services displayed on our Site or on any other website that you may access via our Site;
  • Which are indirect or not foreseeable by us when you accessed or used the Site;
  • Arising from an inability to access the Site, from any use of the Site, or from reliance on the data transmitted using the Site where such losses or damages are caused by any event beyond our reasonable control including as a result of the nature of electronic transmission of data over the internet;
  • In connection with any act, omission, error, or default by any Exchanger in the provision of any Exchanger’s Service, or the execution of, or any purchase made by you.


We provide our Site for domestic and private use only. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

We accept no responsibility and make no representations, guarantees, or warranties that the Site will operate continuously, without interruptions, or be fault-free. We may need to make the website unavailable with or without notice to carry out maintenance or upgrade work. We accept no liability for any interruption or loss of service.

We do not give any warranty that the Site is free from viruses or anything else which may have a harmful effect on any technology.

Our algorithms match your data input to Exchangers who are offering Travel Money exchange rates at a particular point in time.

Please be aware that Travel Money rates are constantly fluctuating and that they can fall as well as rise. Accordingly, as an additional service, Exchangers can offer to buy back Travel Money purchased from their bureau if they are participating in the Buy-Back Programme. Offering currency buy-back is at the discretion of the Exchanger, check for the Buy-Back icon against the Exchanger’s name in the ranking table to confirm if they offer Buy-Back. Once you have chosen the Exchanger from which you wish to purchase your Travel Money, you may place your order and pay the bureau through the Site, to complete the purchase. If you proceed with your purchase with that bureau, you contract directly with it, not with us. We do not hold or handle money in respect of any Exchanger’s Service selected by you.

In introducing you to Exchangers, we may be remunerated by them for doing so in the form of a processing fee based on transactions that you undertake with or through them or otherwise as we agree with them.

Security

We subscribe to the latest in internet security standards so you can shop with confidence online. The Site will be encrypted with a valid certificate, and the information you supply is encrypted and cannot be read by anyone else.

7. Legal

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected.

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to your access to and use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements (including any previous terms of use of the Site).

No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these Terms and Conditions will operate as a waiver of that right nor will any single or partial exercise by us of any right preclude any further exercise of any right.

These Terms and Conditions and your access to and use of the Site shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. Each of you and us submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in connection with these Terms and Conditions and your access to and use of the Site (including any claims or disputes).

Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Access to and use of the Site is subject to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. By accessing and using the Site you agree to be bound by and to act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or our Privacy Policy, you should stop using and/or accessing the Site immediately. If you breach any term of these Terms, your right to access and use the Site will cease immediately.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time by amending this page. The amended Terms and Conditions will be effective from the date they are posted on the Site.

Complaints

We aim to provide you with an excellent service at all times.

We will aim to send you a formal acknowledgement of your complaint within 48 hours and to resolve it as soon as possible. After we have had an opportunity to investigate your concerns, we will issue you with a final response.

If you are not satisfied with our response, depending on the nature of your complaint, you may have the right to refer your case to the Information Commissioner’s Office: Telephone: 0303 123 1113; (if your complaint relates to how we have handled your personal information).

If you are unhappy with any Exchangers’ Service you have obtained from a third party or have any complaint regarding any third party, you should address your complaint directly to that third party. You will find their contact details in the order confirmation.

No-Show Policy

Money4Travel aims to ensure an efficient service for the collection of foreign currency ordered through its participating bureaux de change. In the event an order is not collected within seven days of the order having become available in the bureau, the order will be cancelled, and payment reversed. A fee of £10 can be applied by the bureau to cover administrative costs. The reversal of payment may take up to seven additional days to reflect in the payer’s account.

 

The cancellation process is designed to mitigate operational risks and maintain service efficiency. Compliance with this policy contributes to a smoother transaction experience for all users.
